The 3rd one day international between Australia vs. Pakistan was held at Abu Dhabi. It was a 50 over day/night match. Australia won the toss and chose to bat. JR Hopes and Haddin started the innings for the Australian team. Haddin lost his wicket when he scored 26 runs, and Hopes lost his wicket for 15 runs. However MJ Clarke managed to make 66 runs for his team. Ferguson also made 41 runs for his team and finally the Australian team made 198 runs with a run rate of 198 runs per over. Gul picked up 3 vital wickets and Afridi took 2 from the Pakistan bowling side. Pakistan started their inning with Salman Butt and shehazad, both the players made 40 odd runs each for their team. However the team collapsed as the middle order batsman failed to perform well. The Pakistan team lost its entire wicket for 171 runs. MJ Clarke picked up 3 wickets and it was a glorious win for the Australian team with 27 runs. The Australian team led the series by 2-1.
