The 3rd ODI of the Australia in India series was held at Delhi. The Australian won the toss and made a choice to bat first. Watson and Pointing started the batting for the Australian team. Watson scored 41 runs while Pointing made 59 runs and gave a good start for their team. Hussey played well for his 81 runs. Finally the team made 229 runs with the loss of 5 wickets completing 50 over with the run rate of 4.58 runs per over. RA Jadeja picked 2 wickets from the Indian bowling side. The Indians started the innings with Sehwag and Tendulkar. Both the batsman lost their wickets after scoring few runs. However Yuvraj and Dhoni held the innings and lead the team to victory. They scored the winning runs at the end of 48.2 over with the loss of 4 wickets. The Indian team won by 6 wickets. Yuvraj was given the man of the match and the Indian lead the 7 series match by 2-1.
